14/10/91, Kyeemagh, NSW Approx: 10:00 pm - Three witnesses

Witness account: On the night of the 14/10/1991, I was on a small beach near Kingsford Smith Airport, with two other people, we were the only people on the beach. We could hear a buzz or humming sound over head, I looked up and noticed a craft in the air. This craft was unlike anything I have ever seen.

There was water dripping off it as if it had just come out of the sea. As the craft passed over us we could see what looked like Egyptian hieroglyphs on the underside. The elevation was about 50 degrees to the horizon, the craft moved from a South-Eastern position to an Easterly direction. As the craft moved away from us we could see the back of it, which had two oval shaped exhaust vents, which were radiating heat.

The craft passed near us and then turned off towards the air traffic control tower. The control tower was maned at the time, the air traffic controllers could also see the craft, they were pointing at it and there was a lot of activity in the tower. We lost the object behind some trees.

During the sighting we could see the stars and the moon which was always behind us, it was a clear and mild night.

Investigators notes: I personally spoke to two of the witnesses one on one, the third was happy to talk about the incident on the phone but did not want it documented. The three witnesses mentioned that some time later they noticed numerous small foot prints on the beach close to the waters edge.

They claim that there wasn't anyone on the beach before hand and that the foot prints were not there before. They described the footprints as dumbbell shaped.

Note: It is important to mention that the area around the Air Traffic Control Tower at Kyeemagh has had it's fair share of unexplained sightings. Refer to 11/04/93/ Kyeemagh. << Sighting Not Online as yet .
