Sunday 17/01/93, Marrickville, NSW 10:00-10:30 pm - Two witnesses

Witness account: At approximately 10:00-10:30 pm on Sunday the 24th of January, 1993 while sitting with my cousin at the park talking, we looked up and noticed a very bright light low in the sky about 40 degrees of the horizon in the North-Eastern sky.

It was a very bright light three or four times bigger than a star. It was round and changed in size from small to large and visa versa constantly. When the object got smaller it would disappear, when it reappeared it would start off small and gradually blow up to four times the size of the brightest stars.

The object was in one spot, there were two red lights on the bottom right hand side of the object which seemed to fade away from the object as they were moving. The whole sighting lasted about ten to fifteen minutes. The main object was as bright as a light bulb, it never moved from it's position and was very slowly changing in size until it disappeared.
