Easter Sunday 11/04/1993, Randwick NSW 1:40 pm - 10 witnesses

Witness account: At 1:40 pm on Easter Sunday 1993 while sitting in a park on Belmore Rd, at Randwick I noticed an object approximately 5 degrees of south of Zenith, approximately above cirrus patch, the object was stationary at this point for 20 minutes.

I observed it with binoculars, and could clearly see it was round in shape. I called out two witnesses who confirmed the shape, I had poor eye sight, but I was later able to confirm observation with binoculars.

I returned home at approximately 2:00 pm but lost sight of object. At 2:05 I regained sight of the object, it had shifted to approximately10 degrees of Zenith. This time there were four other witnesses, who were returning from a lunch break from a seminar.

At 2:15 pm there were nine witnesses looking at the object. A smaller craft was seen emerging from the larger object, this was visible to the naked eye, it was also viewed through binoculars. At 2:30 pm up to four or five UFO's could now be seen, two large ones and three smaller ones.

The smaller ones could be seen manoeuvring around one of the larger ones. I personally observed through binoculars one of the smaller crafts execute a semicircle around a larger craft then pause, it just sat there stationary.

The smaller craft seemed slightly different in colour to the larger ones, there were no contrails visible at any time. At 3:00 pm the three smaller crafts were seen to depart as a group by another witness looking through binoculars.

One of the larger crafts moved almost due East out to sea, while the other large one remained. I left the park and went indoors, I checked occasionally. The craft moved to 45 degrees of Zenith. The objects all disappeared after 5:00 pm, presumed departed.

There are three witness sketches provided, one showing what looks like a typical saucer shaped object, another showing a football looking object while the third shows a circle with a dome on top.

Note: There was a significant sighting on the same day 11/04/93 by a family of four who were fishing off the break wall across from the air traffic control tower. Also refer to Kyeemagh case 14/10/91.
