Introduction Brief

Good evening/afternoon ladies and gentlemen. I am honoured to be in Japan to speak to you today. My name is Peter Khoury. I own my own business in the building trade.

I am president of the UFOESA (UFO Experience Support Association) a non profit voluntary organisation dedicated to helping witnesses of UFO events cope with and understand their encounters. We operate under a strict code of ethics. We have a team of professionals amongst whom are physicists, doctors, psychologists, hypnotherapists and counsellors and computer programmers.

UFOESA provides a service for people to discuss their UFO encounters without fear or ridicule.

I was appointed Australian Representative of PEER. (Program for Extraordinary Experience Research) Director of this program is Professor John Mack, head of the psychiatry department at Harvard University in the U.S.A. Professor Mack was in Sydney last week-and is very interested in UFO abduction cases. We will be working with Prof Mack providing him with Australian UFO Abduction cases.

In 1996, during his visit to Australia, Professor John Mack appointed Peter Khoury, the Australian Representative for the renowned UFO Abduction Research Group, P.E.E.R. (Program for Extraordinary Experience Research).

My involvement stemmed from my own conscience experience in 1988. I was in my bedroom lying on the bed watching TV. I felt something grab my ankle, I then experienced Numbness (pins and needles) up my body and head. It felt like Ants crawling on my head. I was paralysed, and could only move my eyes. My brain was functioning normally. I called out to the family. I thought I would never walk again.

I noticed 3 beings on the right with hoods. On the left I saw 2 beings. Eyes, we had telepathic communication, and I felt great emotion. I then saw a needle, they inserted it and I blacked out. I woke up and jumped out of bed. I then talked to my brother and father. The TV was off and their was missing time. The next day I noticed a scoop mark. I talked to Vivian (my wife) and saw a puncture mark. There was also dried blood under my fingernail. I went to the Doctor and he said it looked like I hit my head on a nail and I laughed at that suggestion.

I had nowhere to go talk to anyone about it. It was so real and yet so strange. I joined a UFO group to try to find answers, and saw a need for a support group, so I started UFOESA. With Professionals I formed UFOESA in April 1993. This subject deserves some kind of attention from mental health professionals. This experience has changed my life, awareness and perception..
